For the **60,244 constable vacancies** in the UP Police recruitment, a total of **174,316 candidates** (2.5 times the number of vacancies) have been shortlisted for the next phase, which includes **Document Verification (DV)** and **Physical Standard Test (PST)**. Below are the important details:  



### **Schedule**  

- **DV & PST:** Expected to take place in the **third week of December 2024**.  

- **Physical Efficiency Test (PET):** Candidates qualifying in the DV and PST rounds will be invited for the PET in the **third week of January 2025**.

### **Preparation for the Document Verification (DV) Round**  

Candidates must ensure that they have their **original documents** ready along with **attested photocopies**, verified by a gazetted officer.  


### **Required Documents for DV**  

1. **Photo Identification Proof**  

   - Original photo ID (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.).  

   - Attested photocopy of the ID proof.  


2. **Domicile Certificate (For UP Residents)**  

   - Original domicile certificate for Uttar Pradesh.  

   - Attested photocopy of the domicile.  

   - Note: Mandatory for candidates claiming reservation benefits.  


3. **OBC Certificate (If Applicable)**  

   - Valid OBC certificate as per Uttar Pradesh state guidelines.  

   - Attested photocopy of the certificate.
